Want a similar effect to silk abaca on a budget? Then polyester abaca is just what the doctor ordered! Made from abaca (sinamay) straw woven with polyester threads, this fabric has a slightly glossy look that catches the light when bent into a curve.

Polyester abaca is slightly sheer and has a rustic feel with irregular wavy threading in places. Gently folding it into loops and bows will bring this material to life!
